Spencer Voss searching for his brother (1 of 2)
MR. EDITOR: Will you kindly make inquities [inquiries] through your paper for the address of my brother, Henry Voss, colored, son of Liza Voss, who I believe has settled on some small sugar plantation with-in [within] fifteen miles of your city. I have not seen him since 1846 or 1847, but heard lately such was the case while on a recent visit to Memphis. I have something of importance to tell him, besides the pleasure of seeing him, and I feel certain that a notice from you will reach him. Yours respectfully,
SPENCER VOSS (colored),
