Ann Starling searching for her father Isham, mother Lamy, and several siblings
I ask for information concerning
my relatives. I was sold from them
two or three years before the war,
leaving them at San Augstine,
Texas. My father then belonged to
Mr. Gambler. His name was Isham,
my mother's name was Zamy.
The other children were named
Harriet, Mary, Stewart, Elizabeth,
Willis, Humphry. My father was
a Missionary Baptist preacher.
Address, Ann Starling, Dallas, Texas.
