Mary Cliff searching for her mother Bettie and siblings James, Emily, and Jordan
Southwestern Christian Advocate (New Orleans, LA)
September 13, 1877
My family belonged to Mr. Mat.
Brown, at Nashville, Tennessee. I
was taken away from them when I
was a small child-my father was
then dead. My mother was named
Bettie, and she had three other
children, James, Emily and Jordan,
and I had other relatives named
Moses, Scott, George, Alexander
and Rebecca. I will be thankful
for any word concerning them. Ad-
dress Mary Cliff, Houston, Texas.
