MR. EDITOR—I wish to inquire for my mother, Rose Arthage, and my brother, Prince Arthage. I left them in Lannsboro or Heangesville, Ala. Mother was taken by Mr. Arthage for debts, and I was sold to Mr. Thadeas Mather. Mother had eight children—Silas, Hannah, Barbara, Lucy, Charlotte, Fannie, Lilley and Prince.
